Whiteford Township is located just north of Sylvania Ohio in Michigan. The townships approx. 40 sq. miles is covered by two volunteer operated fire departments that provide 24/7 EMS, fire suppression, and rescue services to it approx. 5000 residents. We also maintain mutual aid agreements with the neighboring municipalities to assist them and to provide greater assistance to our residents.

The fire departments are comprised of non-compensated volunteer officers and firefighters that train every Monday night from 7:00PM to 9:00PM to prepare for any situation that may occur. Our township provides many tactical challenges such as an airport, the states largest stone quarry, U.S. 23; a major expressway, asphalt production facility, grain silos, firework outlet stores, various manufacturing facilities, and truck stops to name a few.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
